In July, all Family Single Student and Flex First RESPs will be transferred to an Embark Plan. Learn more about what this means for you.

What You’re Getting

As part of the upgrade, all subscribers will be transferred to the Embark Student Plan or Embark Select Conservative Plan based on their risk profile and age of child. Both plans offer many enhancements and upgrades that’ll help you manage and use your funds anytime, anywhere.

Key Dates To Know

Stay on top of everything to do with the transfer and our platform by reviewing our list of key dates.

June 21, 2024

The last day to make any changes to your pre-authorized contributions or banking information until July 4th, when you activate your new account.

June 25, 2024

The last day to submit a withdrawal and guarantee its processing in June, provided there are no issues with it. Access to your former digital account will be limited to viewing statements and tax slips as we prepare to transfer your RESPs to Embark.

June 28, 2024 to July 3, 2024

Embark services will experience a temporary interruption due to a planned system upgrade. The new online portal will be down during this time.

July 5, 2024

You’ll be able to activate your new online account.

September 2024

You’ll receive your final statement of account for your old plan, outlining what was transferred to your new Embark account.

Activating Your New Account

On July 4, 2024, you’ll be able to activate your new Embark online account and get access to all the new tools available to you. Until then, just sit back and we’ll take care of everything else.

You’ll need:

  • Government ID
  • Your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Phone

All subscribers associated with a plan should create their own account to access information about their RESP(s).
